Otava was established in 1997 as a subdivision of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics (NAS of Ukraine) and specializes in the synthesis and supply of high-quality novel organic compounds on a non-exclusive basis. Now it is a creative, dynamic and privately held company that is specialized in drug discovery technologies, custom synthesis and development of fluorescent dyes for biomedical research.
We develop target-focused compound libraries prepared on the base of combinatorial libraries contained 370.000 compounds. The focused libraries are generated on the base of virtual screening with accounting of critical (key) receptor-ligand interactions. Our targets are kinases, polymerases, nuclear receptors and other enzymes.
