Specs
Specs, founded in 1987, provides chemistry and chemistry related services that are required in drug discovery.
For more than 17 years, Specs has been providing chemical compounds to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for drug discovery. Annually, more than 1.5 million structures are offered by academia and research institutes from all over the world. Only those compounds that meet the Specs selection criteria are added to our collection.
Our chemically diverse in-house collection, consisting of single synthesized, well-characterized and drug-like small molecules, has been built through global acquisition programs utilizing a network of more than 2,000 academic sources worldwide. This 17 years of compound handling experience is now also offered to our customers for managing their (historical) compound collections.
In addition to providing compound handling services and high quality compounds Specs offers a wide range of services such as cheminformatics, custom synthesis, contract research and compound sourcing.
