Sussex Research is a privately-held chemistry-focused company leading in the design and manufacture of advanced glycosylation products and carbohydrate-enabling synthesis solutions for biopharmaceutical, diagnostic and research applications. Operations are carried out from laboratories based at the Industrial Partnership Facility of the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada in Ottawa, Ontario.

The Sussex product portfolio enables researchers to explore and exploit glycobiology via facile introduction of carbohydrate recognition elements onto small molecules or biological entities and includes synthetic building blocks, oligosaccharides, glycosylaminoglycans and glycoconjugate classes including glycoamino acids, glycopeptides, glycolipids, and glycosides containing special functionalized PEGylated linker/spacer systems.
