Apollo Scientific Ltd has been serving the scientific community for over 12 years now and during this time has build up a wide and varied range of products. The product listing represents the growth over that period and encompasses the bulk of the Apollo range of products. Our traditional expertise has been in fluorochemicals and this continues to be at the core of our manufacturing abilities.
However, we are not restricted to this niche and consequently we have diversified into non-florochemicals over the years, presently with more than 19000 organic intermediates available from stock or custom based synthesis. This has been in recognition of the expanding interest in key building blocks (boronic acids, sulphonyl chlorides, thiophenols, phenacyl bromides, piperazines), many of which we now manufacture in our own laboratories. Areas of particular expertise in custom synthesis lie in fluorochemicals (both aromatic and aliphatic), thiophenes (and other organo-sulphur compounds), quinolines, pyrimidines, indoles, benzo[b]furans, benzo[b]thiophens and other heterocycles.
Apollo Scientific has long-standing links with the Chinese chemical industry and has its own trading office in Hangzhou.
